this is my First space art utilising my new approach - real paint for textures. its my practice, its black and white because i haven't got my colours yet to colour the paint. hence practice, first piece.

inspired by the piece in ALIEN still. more to come, particularly original ones.

enjoy.

i'm still working on a few things - convincing star fields, nebula, and other star brushes to find.

i'm still a beginner at space art, but i'v taken a lot and learned quite a bit from the film scene. its my source of inspiration. i hope my space art will noticeably stand out in a different way from the usual space art on DA because i don't want to use common effects like 'glows' and other things that make it look a bit too 'digital'.
